Really embrace a healthy diet

Making sure you’re eating a healthy and balanced diet is a great place to start. Make sure you get fruit, vegetables, lean proteins and dairy into your diet each day. If you struggle with eating fruit or vegetables, there are plenty of ways of hiding them in meals like in sauces or dips. Find new ways to make sure you’re getting the nutrition you need in your diet. It’s important to remember that occasional treats are absolutely fine, so there’s no need to restrict yourself.

Move around more

Exercise is so important when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle, so it’s important to find an exercise that you can enjoy so you don’t end up skipping it. You should try and exercise every day, but if that’s not possible try and get in at least 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. Not only does exercise improve your physical health, but it also helps boost your mental well being too through the release of endorphins.

Quit smoking

Quitting smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health. However, it’s understandable that quitting can be very daunting. Luckily, there are alternatives that can help with the process, like vaping. Prioritise your mental health

Get into a sleep routine

Getting enough sleep is easier said than done, but it’s really important for your health. When you’re asleep your body has time to relax, rejuvenate and most importantly, repair. Sleep also helps with your mental health, so it’s important to make sure you’re getting enough sleep. If sleep is something you struggle with, set yourself a sleep routine. This could involve shutting off devices an hour before bedtime, going for a relaxing bath, or making yourself a warm drink and reading in bed for a while. It might take some time to find a routine that works for you, but it’s definitely worth it.
