I’ve had a go at making some homemade Christmas decorations and it’s lots of fun. I still have precious decorations made by my children and some that I’ve made myself, like my Crochet Christmas Tree. I have a gorgeous glass bauble that my eldest son made for me in college over 20 years ago. But, sometimes, making things yourself is just not possible so it’s nice to know you can still get those handmade decorations from somewhere else. Etsy is my favourite place for handmade items and I’m a big fan and spender on the site. I am also an affiliate so if you find something you like in my gift guide and decide to buy it, I may earn a little money at no extra cost to you. I’m always truly grateful for anyone who buys from my links. It takes me a lot of time and effort to put together posts like these and I appreciate your support.
I will be doing a few Etsy Christmas Guides this year but I have decided to start with decorations.
Christmas Tree Decorations
Let us start with my picks for the Christmas Tree. You can always see more of my choices on my favourites lists.
Aren’t they just delightful and so original. I have a little angel with my name on it for my tree which was gifted to me by a friend a few years ago.
We no longer have a fireplace to hang our stockings but we still hang them up every year. Some hang them on the end of the bed for an early morning gift from Father Christmas. Here are some of my favourite stockings from Etsy.
I have to admit, I am really taken by the quilted stockings, they are so unusual. They may sell out quickly though.
I love Christmas wreaths and I bought one from Etsy for myself last Christmas. I’ve lots to chose from on my Etsy favourites page but here are a few different ones for you to peruse.
Light Up Decorations
We all love lights at Christmas and at Etsy you can find lots of light up decorations and fairy lights. Here are a few of my favourites.
A Few More Christmas Decorations.
Let me just finish with a few more decorations to share with you. Remember, when you purchase from Etsy you are helping small businesses.
I hope you have enjoyed my guide to Christmas Decorations. If you have a Christmas post you would like to share with others then you can add it to my Christmas Linky.
