Welcome to Book Worms Monthly June. This month I joined a book club! I am going to actually meet up with people in a coffee shop and talk about a book. This month it is Yellowface by Rebecca F. Kuang, you can read my review here but I’ve already made a notebook full of notes for the club. (Is that what you do, I’ve not done this before?)
Reading is my passion and I love to write about what I’ve read. I’m a real book worm and I have been since the day I could read. I decided to start this linky so that other book worms could Share. I’m starting monthly for now, so you have a whole month to link up your posts. You can link up to four posts, so that’s one a week. Or if you like you can link up some of your older posts.
Let’s share what we read and give other’s ideas what to read next. I love that you’ve joined a book club! Yellowface is a great book to start with too. I know friends who end up reading books they really don’t like for their book clubs.
I started a book club last year and this is our one year anniversary month! I hope you read a lot of great books!
I have never been part of a book club but I think I would definitely be the person that shows up with notes. I enjoyed Yellowface despite not liking any of the characters…
I will keep my notebook in my bag, but my memory is bad so I will probably have to dig it out at some point. I didn’t like the characters of the story either but I’ve been exploring them more, probably a bit too much as it’s taken me back to my degree days, lol x
